The Look Of America - Original 1976 Charles Eames 16mm Film
This original vintage Charles Eames 16mm film was commissioned for Charles Montgomery of the Yale University Art Gallery.
The film is essentially an historical account using footage and slides to portray the developing early States of America from forming to industrialisation. Many of the Galleries artifacts and collectibles were used in the film.
The film was put into general circulation and runs long at over 26 minutes.
This film comes in a nice original vintage box rather than the traditional 'can'. The film is in perfect and working condition and the box shows signs of storage wear.
Finding original film reels of Charles Eames films is very rare and this version was never released into general circulation and is therefore highly collectible and a great investment.
